Geshe Tenzin Zopa will be in Wagga Wagga!

Geshe Tenzin Zopa is coming back! He will be teaching in Wagga from 21-23 September 2017. During his stay, he will give a public talk and speak at the inaugural muitl-faith dialogue in Wagga, representing Buddhism. The details of the multi-faith dialgoue is provided in the next event. The details of the public talk are:

Title: Cultivating Inner Peace

Date: 21st September 2017 (UN International Day of Peace)

Time: 6.30pm - 8pm (Door opens from 6pm, come early to grab a tea/coffee, looking at our fund raising items for sale: CDs, books, mala beads, incense, etc etc. So, please bring small change in case you see something you might like to purchase)

Venue: Multicultural Council Wagga Wagga, 18, Station Pl (next to train station)

Multi-faith dialogue: Spiritual attitude towards materialism

UN's International Day of Peace falls on the 21st September

In conjunction with the UN International Day of Peace, an inaugural multi-faith dialogue will be held in Wagga Wagga featuring four key religions in the world. This event is organised by 'Our Common Word' where Potowa Buddhist Group is the co-organiser and proudly sponsored by Multicultural Council Wagga Wagga and AAA Lasting impression.

Date: 23 September 2017, Saturday

Time: 2pm to 5pm

Venue: Council Meeting Room, corner Baylis and Morrow Street, Wagga Wagga

Cost: Free/donations welcome (net proceeds will be donated to Uniting Church and Micah House)
